Summary of the experiences and competences of Sara
I earned my Ph.D. in Environmental Science, specializing in the utilization of nanomaterials for the mitigation of microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC). Following the completion of my Ph.D., I gained valuable experience during a one-and-a-half-year tenure at a corrosion consulting firm. I’ve recognized that a significant bottleneck exists when attempting to study MIC under real-world conditions. Now, as a postdoctoral researcher at BAM, my primary focus lies in conducting laboratory-based investigations to generate results that accurately represent real-world scenarios. This is the central objective of my postdoctoral work at BAM. I am so passionate to further my career as a researcher in the field of MIC.
