Nenad is a member within the Euro-MIC COST framework. This project is funded by the European Union and enables scientists to bridge knowledge and capabilities across countries and disciplines.

Summary of the experiences and competences of Nenad

Applied and fundamental research focused on the synthesis and design of small, hybrid and functional particles at the molecular level represent my research challenge. Ignjatović works in the research area of nanotechnology and its applications in preventive and regenerative medicine, pharmacy, construction and food. Applied and fundamental research focused on the synthesis and design of small, hybrid and functional particles at the molecular level represent my research challenge. As an author or coauthor, I published (until January 2023) more than 340 bibliographic resources falling into various categories; out of them, >100 can be found in SCOPUS database and they have been cited more than 2500 times, h=30 (Google Scholar: >3700 times; h=35). The subject of my research in the past 5 years has been focused on the design of hybrid materials and coatings with antibacterial and anti corrosive properties.
