Summary of the experiences and competences of Elsemiek
I have a scientific background in microbiology and obtained my PhD within the Wageningen University in the Netherlands, studying electrochemically active microorganisms. In my present function as consultant and specialist microbiology I apply the knowledge of being a researcher and the knowledge of microbiology in unique ecosystems to help our customers understand microbiological issues or systems and advise on the best way to measure, understand and control microbiology. Within this work I have been involved in 100+ MIC projects for over 10 years as a microbiology MIC expert for a a broad spectrum of clients.
